Hot Vinyasa Flow - Hot Vinyasa is a powerful and physically challenging class that focuses on fluid movement and connection to breath. Poses are linked together by seamless transitions creating a dance with body and breath. Sequences vary by the passionate creation of our teachers, but always build from the ground up and back down; creating a dynamic flow in which you will gain strength, flexibility and focus. A full range of postures are taught, with modifications for whenever students feel necessary. Geared towards all levels, though some yoga experience is required.
Hot Slow Flow - Slow Flow invites students to do just that, slow down! (And don't we all need some of that) Come sweat in slow motion during this strong and fluid Vinyasa practice in which poses are held longer than they would be in our Vinyasa Flow; allowing yourself more time to feel into the postures and inviting your body and mind to build higher strength and focus. This is a great class for all practitioners alike, and a good stepping stone for the beginner/intermediate yogi.
Hot Gentle - Hot Gentle is a slow paced class with longer holds where students will practice modified Sun Salutations along with static, gentle postures that focus on building supple strength and flexibility. Gentle is about taking a break, learning, getting centered, and grounded. This class is great for every level of experience, and is especially recommended to those new to yoga.
Warm Yin - Yin Yoga is a practice that invites stillness, relaxation, and gives the body time to do what it does best - heal. Here, students will use props such as bolsters and blocks to support the body and are guided into passive poses that are held for longer periods of time. Yin is a meditative practice that is deeply healing for the body in that it restores muscle fascia, increases the overall health of the circulatory system, and awakens the para-sympathetic nervous system (opposite of "fight or flight" response) to allow the body to truly restore itself. All levels welcomed.
Candlelight Flow & Restore - This warm class is all about creating balance. Students begin with a slow moving Vinyasa practice in order to lengthen and open the body, while focusing the mind and taking time to become centered and grounded. The second half of class is rounded out with a Restorative practice where students will use props such as bolsters and blocks to support the body; they are guided into passive poses that are held for longer periods of time in order to deactivate the sympathetic nervous system ("fight or flight" response), reducing stress and allowing them to release tension in deep muscle tissues. Practiced by calming candlelight. All levels welcomed.
Hot Vinyasa Flow Level 2 - Level 2 is a faster variation of our all levels Vinyasa Flow; featuring intermediate arm balances, inversions, and added breath awareness with consistent flowing movement. Modifications are offered for students new to the class. This is the perfect opportunity to be surprised by what you can do and how far you can go, you're sure to leave feeling refreshed and empowered! Some yoga experience recommended.
Hot Level 2/3 - Gives students the opportunity to try and work on a full range of more advanced postures. Each month, it focuses on different types of postures as to give more time to really understand and work on putting them together into a Vinyasa Flow. Expect to work on binds, backbends, standing postures, arm balances, and inversions. Recommended for students with experience.
